Kenya is now getting nearly 90% of its electricity from renewable energy. That’s up from just 50% in 2000, making it one of Africa’s leaders in the clean energy transition.
The country has invested heavily in geothermal, wind, solar, and hydropower, including Africa’s largest wind farm at Lake Turkana.
