The Philippines is making it easier for families to switch to clean energy. The state-owned Government Service Insurance System pension fund is offering loans of up to 500,000 pesos (roughly $11,500 Canadian dollars) to help workers install rooftop solar at home.
With global conflicts continuing to drive up fuel prices, this will help more households protect themselves from price shocks, while building a cleaner, more independent future for the country.
